Experience Sanskrit Arkansas Style
You'll love the pictures that our friends Andrea Fournet and Bryan Fowler have posted from the Experience Sanskrit Workshop we did in Fayetteville, AR last month.
Check them out at Arkansas Yoga Galleries.
You'll see photographic evidence of the now-famous "pin the tail on the yogi" game and other action-packed events designed to make the Sanskrit names of yoga poses unforgettable.
You'll also notice that the people in the pictures are happy! Sanskrit doesn't have to be miserable!
Here's a quote from one of the participants: "When signing up for your class I thought, Oh sure, we're going to learn in four hours what I have been struggling with for 10 years...but you know what, I'm teaching it in class this week and the students love it so far. I've started with anatomy and using poses that use those words. Thanks for spending all these years putting together your thoughts and ideas. It's working."
You can't beat that for results! I didn't make that up.
Don't just read about it. Get up. Experience it. Experience yoga!

p.s., Have you seen our virtural Sanskrit refrigerator magnet? It's fun. And it helps you learn the names of yoga poses. Look here. Drag your mouse over each of the tiles on the refrigerator magnet and you'll see how the word roots can be combined to make Sanskrit yoga pose names.
